Mike's Alameda Campaign
The village is composed of two discernible parts: A small dense developed center, ringed by a palisade and large tracts of farmland surrounding the city until the plains meet the forest. The farmland is dotted by small farmhouses, barns, and stables that keep the staple crops and the grazing cattle in order. The village center is comprised of simple wooden buildings on unpaved roads. The buildings are packed tightly to conserve space and are all relatively the same size save the mayor’s house which is noticeably larger. There are all basic amenities here: shops, inn, marketplace, and taverns. There is even a village well and a small temple which houses shrines to all the major gods.
